about

A lot of writing is autobiographical or part fiction/part truth. This is one of these songs that was written based on a real life idea, but not exactly real life!

lyrics

I kept it in disguise
Don’t wanna hear the silent lies
A scene from the past an open door
Did she long for something nice
A feeling spent without the price
She felt beginners luck once more

How could I tell her
She had this hold on me
Sooner or later
Had to face reality
She’s not in love with me

Walking on love’s high wire
These are the days of strong desire
With nothing to hang on but my pride
If she’s really using me
And not just my delusioned plea
Then there is nothing to decide
